“Traditional postpartum medicine has become an effective and special tool in my practice! I felt postpartum was getting so sterile, and reconnecting back with rituals and indigenous practices have been great for me and my clients. I've discovered how useful things like closing of bones can be such a transformational practice for birthing people no matter how long ago they have given birth. I am happy to have learned a skill that brings mothers back home to their bodies.”

Testimonials

"Something told me to reach out, i was in my program and i knew i needed to connect with someone in the area who understands how critical this work is... Since then, she has literally held my hand and shared with me every piece of information about the work of a doula...she has held nothing back and has been a light in my new and unfamiliar journey....I appreciate more than any words can express, all of our weekly sessions and what i was able to take from what she has already learned."

~ Kenah L.

"I was impressed with how aware of diverse needs they were and provided and space-holding. They consistently used inclusive terminology, illuminated the racial disparities in this field, and brought a social-justice approach to the curriculum. They were also aware of up-to-date research about birth and techniques"
